

There are several good spots to take pictures of bulkcarriers. In the Netherlands obvious spots are along the Nieuwe Waterweg or the Westerschelde to Antwerp or Ghent. Nice ships pass here. For the bigger bulkcarriers you would need to go to the Maasvlakte, where ships for both the EECV and the EMO pass. Another good spot is near the locks in IJmuiden, where bulkcarriers for Amsterdam or the Cores-plant can be viewed. Due to their long, low form they are difficult to be pictured interestingly. |
