By far the best place to picture ferries is Calais, at the western pier. The ferries pass by real close and within four hours you can have pictured them all. Dover is a good second, but the spots are much farther away on the Prince of Wales Pier or on the Cliffs. On board between Calais and Dover you may also have good opportunities, especially near the harbour mouths. A few ferries were pictured on the South of France, near Marseille, Toulon en Nice.Warnemünde and Travemünde in Northern Germany are also places where you can picture a good number of interesting ferries. |
