Tugs

Harbour tugs can be photographed in almost every port. They impress by their power and manoeuvrability and the fast adoption of new technology. Most of the pictures were taken in or near Rotterdam and Amsterdam or on the Westerschelde near Terneuzen or Antwerpen. Seagoing or coastal tugs were mostly pictured near the Hook of Holland, sometimes after a long voyage.
